Topic: A country you would like to visit...

Hi :).

Well, today we are going to talk about countries, especific those you would like to visit.

Personally, I would love to go to Canada, because it is a very cold and cosmopolitan country, where you can live day by day with different cultures, different customs and languages. In fact, Canada was one of the first countries, and one of the few so far, to have up-to-date and realistic multicultural policies, which places them as one of the most tolerant countries in America and the world.

Has two official languages French and English, and in cities like Toronto it is quite common to meet residents and tourists from all over the world. This is a perfect environment to learn languages, which is what I would like to do if I ever visit Canada: develop language skills and expand my mind. Besides that, its educational system is one of the most efficient in the world, it would be an excellent opportunity to learn from it.

In addition, as it is the second largest country in the world and covers a large part of North America, it has truly diverse and impressive landscapes. It includes sites like Niagara Falls, the Bay of Fundy and places along the North Pole where the Northern Lights are divisible. It also has equally impressive wildlife, such as the Gray Wolf and the famous Moose, a species that has sadly been threatened and has been rapidly declining.

Historically it is not far behind, since in this sense it counts with places of great importance such as Montreal's Notre Dame Basilica and the only place in North America where the existence of a Viking settlement is known: L'Anse aux Meadows (it is a French-English denomination that can be translated as the Bay with the Grasslands).

Nature and history are important topics to learn for me, I hope that if I visit Canada one day I can learn as much about it as possible.

If you want, you can watch this video that tries to explain Canada very quickly:

Now: What country would you like to visit and why?

IMPORTANT

This is after the publication date of the original post, and is that due to what is happening in the same country about which I exposed a full and almost perfect life, I have realized that I have made the struggles that have been going on for years enormously invisible. the indigenous peoples of Canada. We have recently seen and heard news about how indigenous children have been found buried in the vicinity of residential schools, a situation that occurred for decades throughout the American continent, and also with the Mapuche community in our country. I want to apologize for having been so unconscious about this when talking about Canada and even for having put a video where the supposed day of Canada was celebrated, completely leaving aside the pain, discrimination and oppression that it has suffered for so many years the indigenous population.

Justice and reparation for these peoples NOW.
