Topic: Changes to my study programme...
Hello and welcome :)... as you can see, we have to reflect on our academic future and, also, if we would change something about it.
This year I started studying Social Work and one of my subjects is about research, in fact, right now we are in the middle of a research project. I particularly find this subject too difficult, especially because, as we are just freshmen, it is a resource that in my opinion we should see later, close to the thesis and the end of the degree. Even so, I consider that it is a very important tool for the profession I am studying, only that I would have liked to see it for the "first time" and having more experience in this area, or at least with more time and, therefore, with a broader induction :).
I consider that the curriculum in general is very good, and it provides me with good training for what I would like to work on in the future, which is what the previous blogs were about jeje.
Something main would also be the theme of the environment in which we study and develop: the classrooms, recreation spaces, etc., in this way we have the possibility of finding our own comfort areas, where we can work in a better way and, in addition, try to mix it with fun, sharing with colleagues and/or friends; but since I do not yet know the infrastructure of the campus, I do not know if there should be any change regarding it. Although the possibility that I may experience what I said above excites me quite a bit. I hope that in the near future we can go face-to-face :).
The online classes have been just as difficult, but thanks to the understanding and support that the teachers have given us, they have made this experience much more enjoyable and homologous with our environment at home. Although it is still something that produces too much stress, the fact that they have also demonstrated to be attentive and concerned about our problems means a lot, they are cracks :).

ReplyDeleteI am also in the middle of a research process D :, and I also wish I had something to guide me on the subject of research and I would also like to be able to go to campus, at least to see how it's like > ﹏ < (I really loved the final message ✨💕).

ReplyDeleteI'm agree with you, I also had research in the first year, and was so difficult, and the things that we saw in this subject I forgot it, so now I will have to study them again to see the thesis topic the next year :c
